Dog Vaccinations

Rabies:
     Rabies is a viral disease transmitted through trasmission of bodily fluids-most commonly a bite. It is contagious to all mammals including cats, dogs, and even humans. Rabies vaccines is required by law in the state of Indiana, and cannot be given to a cat/dog until it is 16 weeks of age.
DAPP:      DAPP stands for Distempar, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. OTherwise known as the puppy vaccines, this vaccine is a 4-in-1 that helps protect your pets against potentially fatal viruses. Puppies start this vaccine at 8 weeks of age and will need a booster ever 3-4 weeks until they are 16 weeks old.
Leptospirosis:    Lepto is a bacterial infection that damages the pets liver, kidneys, and other major organs. Lepto can be transmitted from dog-dog or dog-human through exposure to contaminated urine.
Bordetella (kennel cough):     Bordetella is a highly contagious respiratory disease amongst dogs. This vaccine is often required for most dogs entering boarding facilities/grooming, training classes, and recommended for those who go to dog parks and other places they encounter numerous other dogs.

Feline Vaccinations

Feline Distemper (FVRCP):
    FVRCP stand for Feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia, these are all viral diseases that can cause an array of problems, and has no correlation to canine distemper. A kitten will need to begin the vaccination series at 6-8 weeks aof age and will get boosters every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age.

Feline Neuter and Spay     We offer reasonably priced spays and neuters for cats
Canine Neuter and Spay     and dogs! 

Feline Declawing    We offer both front paw declawing as well as all-four paw.
Canine and Feline Dental Cleaning     Dental cleanings are performed by our registered veterinary technicians with specialty work performed by the veterinarian. Using a scaler and polisher we are able to make your pets teath pearly white, and help with their bad breath.
Canine and Feline Mass removals    When deamed necessary by client and veterinarian we can perform mass removals on both cats and dogs.

Lab-Test


CBC      A complete blood count test measures several components and features of your blood, including:
Red blood cells, which carry oxygen
White blood cells, which fight infection
Hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying protein in red blood cells
Hematocrit, the proportion of red blood cells to the fluid component, or plasma, in your blood
Platelets, which help with blood clotting
Abnormal increases or decreases in cell counts as revealed in a complete blood count may indicate that you have an underlying medical condition that calls for further evaluation.


Chemistry     A blood chemistry panel is another common test used to evaluate a variety of components. It consists of about 10 tests meauring components to look at kidney and liver function, glucose levels, and protein levels.

Heartworm Tests      We use "snap tests" that take ~ 10 mins for results, if requested we can test for tick borne diseases at the same time using the same test!

We offer an array of individual in-house tests such as: Thyroid, Phenobarbital, SDMA, Feline Leukemia, and Leptospirosis.

If a specialty test is needed, we are partnered with IDEXX Laboratories where with most tests we can get results within 12-24 hours!
